Many developers like Vision Pro, at least according to Apple

Software Development Kit (SDK) downloads visionOS exceeded Apple’s expectations, despite previous concerns about developers’ lack of interest in the Vision Pro headset.

Apple has not responded directly to these rumors, but in these hours wanted to make it clear that many developers are interested in the Vision Pro. Susan Prescott, Apple vice president of developer relations, emphasized that customer satisfaction is “extremely high in the triple digits for the labs we have served to date.”

Steve Sinclair, senior director of marketing for Apple Vision Pro, said that “the number of SDK downloads exceeded our expectations,” indicating that Vision Pro is already popular with developers.

The “visionOS” simulator has been available since the end of June so developers can start developing and testing apps for the device ahead of its launch in 2024.
