Samsung Galaxy S23 FE before debut: design preview and specifications

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE is ready for its debut and usual reliable leaker Evan Blass gives us an exclusive look at its design and some key specifications. This smartphone positions itself at the entrance to the high-end market and is expected to hit the market at the end of September 2023. Let’s find out what it has in store for tech enthusiasts!

The sophisticated design of the Galaxy S23 FE

The Galaxy S23 FE has an instantly striking design. It features compact dimensions, a metal frame and an elegant pointillism effect on the back. With a 6.4-inch screen, it sits strategically between the 6.1-inch Galaxy S23 and 6.6-inch Galaxy S23 Plus, offering a balanced range of sizes.

What can you expect from the Galaxy S23 FE?

Samsung has maintained its distinctive style with three photo sensors on the back of the phone. Although this choice makes Samsung devices recognizable, it can sometimes limit their uniqueness. However, these sensors have a lot to offer: a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle and an 8-megapixel X3 telephoto lens. For comparison, the Galaxy S21 FE had a 12-megapixel main sensor, while the Galaxy S22 FE never came to market.

Previous leaks have already revealed most of the technical specifications. The Galaxy S23 FE in Europe is expected to come with the Exynos 2200 processor, the same chipset found in the Galaxy S22 Ultra. There is also 8 GB of RAM and storage options from 128 GB to 256 GB.

Estimated release date

If you don’t want to wait long, mark your calendar for the end of September. The Galaxy S23 FE is expected to launch during this time, along with devices like the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+, the Galaxy Buds FE headphones and the new generation of Bluetooth trackers, the SmartTags 2.
