Mobvoi launches Wear OS 3 Closed Beta for some TicWatches
Through An entry on Twitter the Chinese Mobvoi has informed its community users that it has launched the “closed” beta testing program for early access to the Wear OS 3 update on some of its smartwatches.
The program is defined as “closed” because it is designed to involve a limited number of users who, through their feedback, will help the company finalize the update before it is distributed in a stable form (however, there is no indication of the Time).
Mobvoi has issued a set of guidelines that program participants must respect. We report on it below:
- Please maintain a high level of engagement throughout the internal beta testing phase.
- Confidentiality is required during the probationary period and a non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
- During the evaluation phase, problem reports may require the provision of video demonstrations and relevant log data. Priority will be given to users with experience using Android Debug Bridge (ADB) functions.
