Italian consumers, from the next Januaryis subjected to a total of telephone remodulation 770 million euros per year. In fact, the tariffs for landline, mobile and Internet services are in 2024will suffer significant price increases, as highlighted by helper. A closer look at the news found that consumers will face continued rate increases starting January 1 and throughout 2024. In particular:
- Tim: From January 1, 2024, the monthly costs for the copy of the invoice in paper form, to the extent that it is contractually required for fixed-line internet customers, will increase from €3.90 to €4.95, including VAT. From the first top-up after November 26, 2023, the monthly costs of some offers in the TIMVISION range will increase by an amount between €0.99 and €4.99 (including VAT), depending on which specific offer the customer subscribes to has.
- Vodafone: For some offers extended after January 13, 2024, the offer price increases by 1.99 euros per month. For business customers there would also be “scheduled increases” of up to 10% 12 or 24 months after signing the new contract.
- Fastweb: From January 1st, 2024, the monthly costs of the offer will increase for some landline customers by an amount between 0.01 euros/month and 4.49 euros/month.
- WindThree: From January 1, 2024, the cost of the service of some WINDTRE fixed network offers will be increased by 2 euros per month (+ VAT for customers with a VAT number). From March 1, 2024, the cost of servicing some WINDTRE landline offers will increase by 2 euros per month.
- PosteMobile: From January 1, 2024, the monthly fee for the “Web Home” offer must be adjusted from the current 19.90 euros to 22.90 euros, which corresponds to an increase of 3 euros per month.
On top of all this there is this inflation-related adjustments. For example, TIM will now increase the monthly fee for some landline offers from April 1, 2024 as a percentage corresponding to the inflation index recorded by Istat (IPCA), increased by a coefficient of 3.5%.
WindTre, on the other hand, has provided the right to increase tariffs within the first quarter of the year by a percentage corresponding to the change in the Foi index recorded by Istat, establishing a minimum price increase of +5%.
