Google is working on bringing Bard, its AI-powered chatbot, to Pixel devices. Bard is currently in beta testing in some regions, but Google is already planning expanded integration with Gmail and Google Docs, and is considering integrating Bard into its Pixel phones.
According to a code analysis by 9to5Google, Google is developing a version of Bard for Android smartphones, although it’s not yet clear whether it will be integrated into Google Search or as a standalone app. The app is expected to launch with a widget that will allow users to interact with the chatbot from their phone’s home screen.
Initially, this feature is expected to only come to Pixel devices like the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, and Pixel Fold, suggesting that Google may prioritize users of its Pixel phones for Bard access.
