While the official specs of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 remain shrouded in mystery, recent leaks and rumors paint a promising picture for the new smartphone.
A new addition is on the way to the product portfolio of renowned smartphone maker OnePlus, which is preparing to introduce two new models to its Nord range: the OnePlus Nord 3, some of which has already been revealed in recent leaks, and the more affordable OnePlus Nord CE 3. Despite the lack of official information on the design and technical characteristics, several rumors are already making the rounds on the internet, fueled also by the appearance on Amazon India of a website dedicated to the smartphone duo.
The team of Pricebaba Recently released some images that, if authentic, would offer a first look at the upcoming mid-range OnePlus Nord CE 3 smartphone. The images show a device encased in a protective case that hides much of its design but prominently reveals a photo compartment similar to that of the realme 10 Pro+, which launched last November.
A closer analysis of the images reveals a photographic section that appears to include a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a third 2-megapixel sensor. These features and the arrangement of the lenses are very reminiscent of the smartphone mentioned above, with the exception of one detail: With the OnePlus Nord CE 3, the entire photo area seems to be housed in one large island that merges with the back of the smartphone device.
Although most of the official technical specifications of the OnePlus Nord CE 3 remain in the dark, the details that have been revealed so far paint a rather interesting preliminary picture. The phone is expected to have an infrared port and an in-display fingerprint scanner. In order to distinguish mid-range and high-end products from those in the mid-range and low-end, OnePlus has decided not to include the iconic muting alert slider on the more affordable devices.
According to the leaked information, the Nord CE 3 is said to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring a high-level visual experience. Under the hood we should find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G SoC, an improved version of the Snapdragon 778G flanked by up to 12GB of RAM.
As for the OS, the device is expected to run Android 13 with the OxygenOS 13.1 UI. Finally, the Nord CE 3 is expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery and support 80W SuperVOOC wired fast charging. We’ll just have to wait for more details on this promising new mid-range device from OnePlus.
