The Zoom app is coming to Apple TV

Video conferencing app Zoom has arrived on Apple TV 4K, allowing users to manage meetings remotely via their TV and an iPhone or iPad.

When Apple unveiled tvOS 17 in June, it said that FaceTime calling would be coming to the Apple TV 4K, with the Zoom and Webex apps being updated with similar features after a few months. Now is the time Zoom for Apple TV.

The app requires A second-generation Apple TV 4K or newer won’t work and you’ll need to use the Continuity Camera feature on iPhone and iPad.

With the Apple TV app, Zoom users can start or join meetings with full video and audio, view related chats, and invite friends and colleagues to join in the conversation. The app also has calendar integration and users can even be assigned to a breakout room.

The tvOS app release is in the rollout phase and will be available to everyone in the next few days. Zoom is free to download on Apple TV from the Apple Store.
