Mobvoi expands Wear OS 3.5 distribution for TicWatch E3
The update to the new version of Wear OS was announced last month, but even then we assumed that it would take some time before it actually appeared on your wrists. Nowadays, distribution is expanding to more and more TicWatch E3 owners, who can now count on many novelty from Wear OS 3.5.
The update brings improvements to smartwatch performance, user interface, menu navigation, vibration management and more. There are also new Google apps, but Google Maps and Wallet for users iOS, in addition to Google Assistant, are no longer available, as are other applications (such as Voice Memo and TicHearing). If you still want to use a virtual assistant, you are forced to install Alexa manually.
Other innovations include improvements to battery life (although some users report higher consumption, at least in the first few cycles) and updates to tools for monitoring health and fitness activities.
How to update TicWatch E3
To update TicWatch E3 to the latest version, you can go to Settings and follow the path “Settings > System > About > Updates“.
