Nothing Phone (1) will be among the first to receive Android 14

Now it’s official: Telephone (1) is not being received Android 14 beta 1 in the next weeks. The device will therefore be one of the first non-Google Pixel devices to receive the first public preview of the new version of the operating system. The confirmation came directly from the CEO Karl PeMe who tweeted: “Android 14 Beta 1 Early Access is here. Thank you Android and Google – there’s a lot of excitement about what Nothing has in store for 2023.”

Further details, such as how to access the update, are not yet available. It is therefore necessary to wait for the next few days to understand the evolution of the situation. In any case, quite a few users are waiting for the update, which will include a number of innovations, including a more functional interface, a new back arrow, a revamped share menu, new APIs for graphics, more room for language customization, and a strong focus on privacy. In this context, new tools for user privacy will be implemented.
